Fo Ti

The Fo-ti plant is native to Taiwan and Japan, but originated in China. In traditional Chinese medicine, premature aging, infectious diseases, erectile dysfunction, vaginal discharges, angina pectoris, and weakness are treated with the Fo-ti plant’s root. Known by the Chinese as he-shou-wu, fo-ti received its name from a man who used the plant to heal his infertility. The medicinal herb then became used throughout China to treat problems including infections, aging, erectile dysfunction, vaginal problems, and angina.
