About Natural Carotenes
β-carotene, α- carotene, δ-carotene, ζ- carotene and other carotinoid are the main parts of the natural carotenes.We can see reddish-brown to reddish-violet or orange to dark orange powder with our naked eyes.It is enthanol- semisoluble and oil- semisoluble,but water-fast.The mixture of natural carotenes and oil are yellow to yellowish-orange. It is absolute a natural pigment abstracted from the dry fleshy tap root of raw Daucus carota by modern biotechnology.Widely used in noodles, butterine, shortening, beverage, cold drink, cakes, biscuits, bread, candy, health-care food, etc as orange coloring and nutrition hardening agent.
