  Cudweed Extract, known to contain a form of organic lithium, has been reintroduced into use this century by renowned Amish herbalist Solomon Wickey, who used it to treat emotional torment and abnormal behavior. Cudweed has been used as a gargle in the treatment of swollen tonsils and ulceration of the throat and mouth. Externally, it is said to be able to destroy head lice.
